Sherlock Holmes & Watson Pub Gulf Hotel Manama, Bahrain
For the British in you, head to the Sherlock Holmes to unlock the mysteries of the night while their house band serenades you (except Tuesday nights). This pub is part of the Gulf Hotel in Manama, and is easy to get to via taxi from anywhere in the city. This place is decorated and feels like your traditional British Pub and has a very nice atmosphere and lots of beer on tap to quench your thirst. This is also one of the more relaxed places in Bahrain, where "dress code" isn't strictly enforced and people are allowed to just hang out and have a pint. They also have trivia night (double check) each Tuesday, in lieu of their house band. They also have large televisions with all the latest football (ie soccer) matches, and darts and pool tables. You can also sit outside to enjoy the steamy evening there if you like.
