Nightlife in Bahrain
The nightlife in Bahrain is something that people all over the Gulf region come to the country for. Because of the proximity to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and because Bahrain allows alcohol and has a laid back vibe to it there are a lot of local area residents and families in Bahrain on the weekends, as well as out-of-towners. Explore the discos and bars of the late evenings in this small but rocking country. Be sure and ask at your hotel where the hot spots are, as they change every so often.
It should be noted that most bars and nightclubs have a very discriminating door policy. This is because the law surrounding their operation is so shaky. Most of them are part of a hotel and officially designated for hotel guests only. However, the places generally only let "Westerners" inside and usually don't let single men in at any time. Usually locals in local dress are not allowed in as well. Be careful of having too much to drink and not having a clear way home.
