Half Moon Hotel Bahrain

Half-Moon Hotel is your best bet for the $30-40 range, probably your best bet in that price range in the whole Gulf region. Reservations are recommended through their website below.

Each room is basic and has a private bath, a/c, hot showers, phones, satellite televisions, and mini-fridges.

The hotel is close to the airport in downtown Manama and you can walk pretty much anywhere you need to from here, including the Gold Souq and other places, though taking a taxi is just as easy.

The Half-Moon hotel Bahrain is also located near several restaurants and night clubs though they also have their own entertainments as well.

The Half Moon hotel has a small snack type restaurant open 24 hours a day and featuring your standard fare of burgers and chips and some great Arabic food.

The hotel has an Arabic and an Indian themed nightclub. The Arabic club, known as Al Bahar, features Arabic music and dancing women from Egypt and Morrocco. The Indian club, Jhankar, features Indian music and dancing.

The Half Moon hotel Bahrain also has a pretty decent English pub known as the Jocker lounge.

While the clubs and bar are ok at the Half Moon hotel Bahrain, you'll probably be better off exploring some of the more crowded ones elsewhere (see Bahrain nightlife). Though you'll also wind up paying more money elsewhere as well.

Contact information is on their website:
