Dubai-Paradise on Earth, pg. 5

by Bina Khiani

Dubai’s rulers have launched many successful projects but the Burj al Arab, a so-called “seven star” hotel and the tallest hotel in the world, has been the leading example of their wisdom and vision. This magnificent distinctive hotel has become the Landmark and icon of Dubai . It stands tall, on a small man-made island off the coast of Dubai , its sail-shaped structure is unique and the 321-metre-high hotel with opulent interior designs and bright colors symbolize an “Arabian night” fantasy.

On entering this masterpiece of architecture, one is transported into a magical dream world- the red, gold and silver interiors, the massive dancing fountains, the high ceilings, super-luxurious restaurants with breathtaking views and massive suites with hi-tech gadgets are evocative of perfection and super-luxury. All doubts of skeptics have been cleared, critics been long silenced for it is evident that although recovery of financial investments of Burj al Arab will be long-drawn, this world famous hotel has put Dubai on the world map as a pioneer in top-quality services. Today Dubai has acquired the reputation of being a country where everything is the “Best.”
