This down home Italian restaurant features
some of Cyprus' best prepared pasta and meat dishes set in a low-key
yet elegant casual setting. The restaurant is a favorite with the locals
and you will usually find that you are the only non-Cypriot in the room,
but do not despair, because the staff and the Cypriot people in general,
are more than happy to help you choose a dish to sample.
They serve a full wine bar as well,
featuring some great Italian and Cypriot wine. Bellapais is a nice dry
white wine which is a Cypriot staple.
One of the house specialties is the
pepper steak, which is served in a creamy spicy sauce smothered on top
of a choice cut of beef.
Wash it down with a
cold locally brewed Carlsberg or Keo beer.
