While Tel Aviv is lacking in good upscale hotels in general, the InterContinental
David is a really nice find.
Often you pay too much money for so so accommodations but the IC provides
a nice level of comfort and service that you would expect from a high
class hotel.
Features a fitness center (for an additional fee), a nice pool, a great
restaurant, lounge bar for snacks, and two upscale bars, including a
cigar bar for those who like to relax with a nice Cohiba and cognac.
The rooms feature the standard TV, Internet, Video games, etc. They
all have very nice beds which are cleaned daily.
The hotel's entrance is "watched" by a group of serious looking
security guards with machine guns as well, so your security shouldn't
be an issue while you are here.
The InterContinental Tel Aviv is located near enough to the main parts
of the city to walk.
The concierge would
be more than happy to set you up with any tour, map, or recommended
restaurant in the city.

price about $220 a night.
