Located on the Meditterranean Sea in
Israel's Northern region, Tel Aviv is one of the more modern cities
in the Middle East. Its inhabitants are a friendly mix of urban Israelis
who like shopping, swimming, and nightclubbing late into the evening.
Though the city does not offer many of the historically interesting
sites of the country, it is very much worth a stopover to see the nightlife
and the beaches.
