Restaurants in Wadi Musa
The Petra Kitchen (see below)
Apart from eating at the high end Movenpick, restaurants in Wadi Musa tend to hover around the more affordable, though overall more expensive than Amman, and are centered up and down Tourist Street in town. You may want to stock up on food at the grocery store in town, if you want to save some money, otherwise Wadi Musa does have some great places to eat. All of these places will be known in town, most you can walk to. Cleopetra Restaurant - One of the local favorites and a must stop. It is also known as Kilopetra. Go here for some great Arabic food and local flavor. Al-Arabi Restaurant - Near the roundabout, also another favorite staple in town for excellent Arabic and Jordanian food. Wadi Petra - Decent food, but an incredible array (beefburgers, kababs, shrimps, etc.). Worth it for a burger. The Petra Kitchen - Teach a man to fish, he'll eat hummus for a lifetime. The Petra Kitchen's price (around JD 30) includes an Arabic cooking course, your meal, all the non-alcohol you can drink, and copies of the recipes you made, which all make it a great idea for capping off a night of ruins-adventuring. They also have longer classes (5 day) available. The Petra Kitchen is located near the Movenpick Resort and most people in town know it. The
