Mussa Spring Hotel & Restaurant

It's somewhat far from the entrance to Petra, but its reasonable rates and hostel style rooms are well worth it if you're on a budget. You can stay in the dorm style rooms with shared bath or book your own clean and well kept room all to yourself. The restaurant is good for local food, and the staff are all well versed in the area and are all multilingual as well. Be sure and haggle for your room rate, you'll most likely get a cheaper deal. You'll meet many like minded travelling partners and maybe even a friend or two as well.

You can even rent a bed on the roof!

It's easy to get there, and they'll pick you up for free from town, or just ask around and someone will point you in the right direction.
