is still HOT!
People are still flocking to Lebanon to bask in its great weather, hospitable
climate, and all-night dancing despite a recent upswing in instability.
This latest round of Lebanese disorder has only taken place in social
debate for the most part. Let's hope the peace holds and more tourists
keep coming to this fragile and rebuilding country.

new IKEA-hijab: "Your Ad Here"
Ikea has come up with an interesting solution for unifying the look
of its covered Muslim women workers: an Ikea hijab. All Muslim women
workers in Ikea can now reflect the company's image in a more universal
way. These hijabs have the company's name printed on them.
Iranian
Love Fund & the Oil economy
In a bid to share the oil revenue more equally, Iranian officials have
decided to put some of the country's money into a "love fund."
This fund is designed to help young people who feel they don't have
enough money to marry. Most of the Iranian population is under 35 years
old, but many of them don't have the jobs or monetary resources to start
families on their own.
Bollywood
offends an Emirati Royal Sheikh
Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed Hasher Al-Maktoum of the UAE recently expressed
his dissatisfaction with a recent Bollywood movie depiction that he
says is based on himself. The movie, "Sarkar, has an underground
gangster assassin character who is also an Olympic gold medallist from
Dubai. Since Sheikh Maktoum is the UAE's only gold medallist, he has
taken personal insult to the portrayal.
